1700 – Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Fundamentals Training
A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Fundamentals Training designed to help employees, supervisors, and organizations understand fundamental environmental protection concepts, workplace environmental responsibilities, pollution prevention, environmental hazard awareness, and basic EHS management practices.
This introductory program provides a general overview of environmental requirements and workplace environmental controls that may apply across construction, general industry, manufacturing, warehouses, maintenance operations, commercial facilities, industrial facilities, and other workplaces.

Training Discipline: Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Awareness, Pollution Prevention & EHS Fundamentals
Regulatory Notice: Environmental requirements vary according to location, industry, materials, processes, quantities, discharges, emissions, waste streams, permits, and the type of operation. This course provides general environmental awareness and does not represent that every regulatory requirement applicable to a particular facility or operation is covered.
Environmental Compliance Notice: Employers and facility operators remain responsible for identifying and complying with applicable federal, state, local, permit-specific, contractual, and other environmental requirements.
Hazardous Waste Notice: This course provides general hazardous-waste awareness only. It does not independently satisfy specialized hazardous-waste personnel training requirements that may apply to a particular generator, facility, job function, or regulated operation.
Spill Response Notice: Employees should respond to spills or releases only within their training, assigned responsibilities, available protective equipment, and employer procedures. Significant or uncontrolled releases may require evacuation, regulatory notification, or response by appropriately trained personnel.
HAZWOPER Limitation: This course is not a substitute for HAZWOPER training required under applicable provisions of 29 CFR 1910.120 or other specialized hazardous-material emergency-response training.
Environmental Permitting Notice: Completion of this course does not authorize participants to prepare, certify, approve, or submit regulatory permits, environmental reports, compliance certifications, or other documents requiring a qualified or authorized individual.
Workplace-Specific Notice: Environmental hazards, permits, procedures, responsibilities, waste streams, discharge limitations, spill controls, reporting obligations, and emergency requirements can vary significantly between workplaces. Employees should follow applicable employer and site-specific environmental procedures.
Qualification Limitation: Completion of this course does not qualify participants as environmental professionals, environmental consultants, environmental compliance officers, environmental engineers, industrial hygienists, hazardous-material responders, or other regulated environmental specialists.
Training Certificate: Participants who successfully complete applicable training requirements may receive an A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health Certificate of Training documenting completion of the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Fundamentals Training program.
The certificate documents training completed and should not be represented as an EPA-issued credential, governmental environmental certification, professional license, environmental professional certification, or other official regulatory qualification.
