The scope of each program is developed according to the client’s excavation and trenching activities, workplace conditions, equipment, workforce, contractual requirements, and identified hazards. A.R.G. may also review existing company procedures and recommend revisions or additional program elements when included within the agreed scope of services.

The employer remains responsible for implementing and maintaining the program, designating qualified and Competent Persons as applicable, conducting required inspections, selecting appropriate protective systems, providing employee training, evaluating changing workplace conditions, and complying with applicable regulatory, contractual, and site-specific requirements. Development of a written program does not by itself guarantee regulatory compliance.
