A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides professional Excavation & Trenching Safety Inspection Services to assist contractors, employers, project managers, and construction teams in identifying hazardous conditions and evaluating safety practices associated with excavation and trenching operations.
Our safety professionals can conduct scheduled or project-specific field inspections focused on excavation conditions, protective systems, access and egress, mobile equipment, underground installations, water accumulation, hazardous atmospheres, adjacent structures, and other conditions that may affect employee safety.

Regulatory Reference
Inspection services may include evaluation of conditions associated with applicable requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P – Excavations, including applicable provisions of 29 CFR 1926.650, 1926.651, 1926.652, and related appendices.
Field Inspection & Documentation
Depending on the agreed scope of services, A.R.G. may document observations, identify potential hazards or deficiencies, provide photographs, recommend corrective actions, and prepare an inspection or safety observation report for the client.

An A.R.G. inspection does not replace inspections required to be performed by the employer’s designated Competent Person under applicable OSHA excavation requirements. The employer remains responsible for designating its Competent Person, conducting required inspections, selecting and implementing appropriate protective systems, correcting hazardous conditions, protecting employees, and complying with all applicable regulatory, contractual, and site-specific requirements. Conditions may change after an A.R.G. inspection; therefore, an inspection report represents observations made within the agreed scope and at the time of the inspection.
