A.R.G. Workplace Harassment Prevention Training
The A.R.G. Workplace Harassment Prevention Training program is designed to help employees, supervisors, managers, contractors, and other workplace personnel recognize inappropriate workplace conduct, understand harassment prevention principles, identify reporting options, and promote a professional and respectful workplace.
The program addresses workplace harassment awareness, sexual harassment awareness, discrimination-related harassment, retaliation awareness, employee and supervisor responsibilities, reporting procedures, bystander awareness, and appropriate workplace conduct.
Program Objectives
Upon successful completion of this training, participants should be able to:
- Understand fundamental workplace harassment prevention principles.
- Recognize examples of inappropriate and potentially unlawful workplace conduct.
- Understand the concept of unwelcome conduct.
- Recognize sexual harassment and other forms of harassment.
- Understand hostile work environment concepts.
- Recognize quid pro quo sexual harassment concepts.
- Understand that harassment may involve supervisors, coworkers, contractors, customers, clients, or other individuals in the workplace.
- Recognize verbal, physical, visual, electronic, and other forms of inappropriate conduct.
- Understand that workplace harassment may occur in physical or virtual work environments.
- Understand retaliation awareness and the importance of protecting employees who appropriately report concerns or participate in applicable complaint processes.
- Understand employee responsibilities for maintaining professional workplace conduct.
- Understand additional responsibilities applicable to supervisors and managers.
- Recognize available workplace reporting procedures.
- Understand the importance of promptly reporting workplace concerns.
- Recognize appropriate bystander responses and intervention considerations.
- Understand the importance of confidentiality during workplace complaint and investigation processes to the extent appropriate and permitted.
- Support a respectful, professional, and harassment-free workplace.

Employee & Supervisor Training
Training may be provided to employees, supervisors, managers, or mixed workplace groups. When requested, A.R.G. may provide additional supervisor and management instruction addressing leadership responsibilities, receiving employee concerns, reporting obligations, escalation procedures, documentation, and employer-specific complaint procedures.
Employer-Specific Training
When included within the agreed training scope, A.R.G. may incorporate the employer’s applicable anti-harassment policy, reporting procedures, complaint channels, human resources contacts, supervisory responsibilities, disciplinary policies, and other workplace-specific requirements into the training.

Certificate of Training
Participants who successfully complete the applicable training requirements and required assessments may receive an A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health Certificate of Training.
