Description
MSHA Part 46 Annual Refresher Training – 8 Hour offered by A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides annual refresher safety and health training for miners working at operations covered by 30 CFR Part 46.
Under 30 CFR §46.8, each miner must receive no less than eight hours of annual refresher training at least once every 12 months. The training must include instruction on changes at the mine that could adversely affect the miner’s health or safety and must also address safety and health subjects relevant to the mining operations at the mine.
The training may address mine-specific hazards, equipment, work practices, accident and near-miss prevention, emergency procedures, traffic control, ground conditions, electrical hazards, mobile equipment, material handling, fall prevention, occupational health hazards, and other subjects identified in the mine’s Part 46 training plan.
Course Duration: Minimum 8 Hours
