1200 – Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker Initial Training – 16 Hour
A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides comprehensive Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker Initial Training for individuals who perform lead-based paint abatement activities in target housing and child-occupied facilities.
This 16-hour initial training program is structured around the EPA Lead-Based Paint Activities Program requirements for the Abatement Worker discipline under 40 CFR Part 745, Subpart L. The course combines classroom instruction with required hands-on training to develop the knowledge and practical skills necessary to perform lead-based paint abatement activities safely and in accordance with applicable requirements.

Important: This Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker course is separate from EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Certified Renovator training. Lead abatement and renovation activities are regulated under different program requirements.
Certification Notice: Successful completion of an accredited training course is one component of the certification process. Course completion alone does not automatically authorize an individual to perform regulated lead-based paint abatement activities. Applicable individual certification, licensing, registration, and jurisdiction-specific requirements must also be satisfied.
