Construction Site Safety Supervisor Program
The Construction Site Safety Supervisor Program provides comprehensive safety and health training designed for construction supervisors, foremen, competent persons, safety personnel, project managers, and other individuals responsible for overseeing construction activities and promoting safe jobsite operations.
The program focuses on developing practical construction safety supervision skills, including hazard recognition, risk control, safety administration, employee communication, jobsite inspections, and the implementation of safe work practices.
Program Objectives
Upon successful completion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Recognize common construction safety and health hazards.
- Understand the safety responsibilities associated with construction supervision.
- Apply hazard identification, assessment, and control principles.
- Conduct and document basic jobsite safety inspections.
- Recognize fall, electrical, struck-by, and caught-in/between hazards.
- Recognize excavation and trenching hazards.
- Promote appropriate personal protective equipment practices.
- Improve jobsite safety communication and hazard reporting.
- Support effective safety meetings and employee training activities.
- Apply fundamental incident prevention principles.
- Promote corrective actions and safe work practices.
- Participate effectively in construction safety and health management activities.
