819 – Scissor Lift Operator Safety Training
A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides Scissor Lift Operator Safety Training designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical understanding necessary to safely operate scissor lifts and recognize hazards associated with mobile elevating work platforms.
This training program addresses equipment inspection, workplace hazards, safe operating procedures, fall protection considerations, manufacturer requirements, emergency procedures, and operator responsibilities. Practical equipment evaluation may be provided when applicable and when suitable equipment is available.

Training Discipline: Equipment Operator Safety
Equipment: Scissor Lift / Mobile Elevating Work Platform
Training Format: Instructor-led classroom and/or online instruction with practical equipment evaluation as applicable.
Operator Evaluation: When operator qualification is required by the employer or applicable standard, practical evaluation should be performed using the type of equipment the participant will operate and under representative workplace conditions as applicable.
Employer Responsibility Notice: Completion of this A.R.G. training program does not relieve the employer of responsibility for ensuring that employees are trained, evaluated, authorized, and competent to operate equipment safely in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer instructions, workplace conditions, and employer policies.
Training Certificate: Participants who successfully complete applicable training and evaluation requirements may receive an A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health Certificate of Training documenting completion of the Scissor Lift Operator Safety Training program.
The certificate documents training completed and should not be represented as a governmental operator license.
