1502 – Telehandler Operator Safety Training
A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides Telehandler Operator Safety Training designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical understanding necessary to safely operate telescopic-handler equipment and recognize hazards associated with lifting, carrying, placing, and handling materials.
This training program addresses equipment inspection, stability, load handling, capacity limitations, attachments, workplace hazards, safe operating procedures, manufacturer requirements, and operator responsibilities. Practical operator evaluation may be provided when applicable and when suitable equipment is available.

Training Discipline: Equipment Operator Safety
Equipment: Telehandler / Telescopic Handler
Training Format: Instructor-led classroom and/or online instruction with practical equipment evaluation as applicable.
Operator Evaluation: When required by the applicable standard or employer, practical evaluation should be conducted using equipment representative of the type the participant will operate and under appropriate workplace conditions.
Employer Responsibility Notice: Completion of this A.R.G. training program does not relieve the employer of responsibility for ensuring that operators are appropriately trained, evaluated, authorized, and competent to operate the specific equipment used in the workplace. Additional equipment-specific, attachment-specific, and workplace-specific instruction may be required.
Training Certificate: Participants who successfully complete applicable training and evaluation requirements may receive an A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health Certificate of Training documenting completion of the Telehandler Operator Safety Training program.
The certificate documents training completed and should not be represented as a governmental operator license.
