CPR & AED Safety Training
This training program provides participants with fundamental knowledge and practical skills for recognizing and responding to cardiac and breathing emergencies and for using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as part of an emergency response.
The program emphasizes scene safety, emergency recognition, activation of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), high-quality CPR principles, AED awareness and operation, and practical emergency response skills.

Workplace Considerations: OSHA addresses medical services and first aid through standards applicable to general industry, construction, maritime, and certain specialized operations. Specific CPR requirements may apply to particular workplace activities and standards.
AED Considerations: OSHA does not generally require AEDs in all workplaces; however, employers may establish workplace AED programs based on their hazards, emergency response needs, and other applicable requirements.
Important: Employers remain responsible for determining the CPR, AED, first aid, emergency response, and refresher training requirements applicable to their workplace and operations.
