1614 – Fire Safety Inspection & Hazard Recognition Awareness Training
A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides Fire Safety Inspection & Hazard Recognition Awareness Training designed to help employees, supervisors, safety personnel, and facility representatives recognize common workplace fire hazards, identify unsafe conditions, understand basic inspection considerations, and properly report deficiencies that could affect fire prevention or life safety.
This awareness-level program is appropriate for construction, general industry, manufacturing, warehouses, offices, commercial facilities, industrial operations, property management, maintenance departments, and other workplaces that conduct routine fire-safety observations or inspections.

Training Discipline: Fire Safety Inspection Awareness, Fire Hazard Recognition & Workplace Life Safety
Awareness-Level Notice: This program teaches general workplace fire-safety inspection and hazard-recognition principles. It does not qualify a participant to perform regulated fire-code inspections, official building inspections, fire-protection system certifications, or other activities requiring a licensed, certified, qualified, or authorized professional.
Inspection Scope Notice: The scope, frequency, documentation, and qualifications required for fire-safety inspections vary depending on the workplace, equipment, occupancy, applicable standards, fire codes, building codes, insurer requirements, contractual obligations, and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction.
Portable Fire Extinguisher Notice: Employees may visually recognize obvious extinguisher deficiencies or access problems as part of workplace safety observations, but this training does not qualify participants to perform required extinguisher maintenance, servicing, recharging, hydrostatic testing, or regulated inspection activities.
Fire Protection System Notice: Sprinkler, alarm, suppression, and other fire-protection systems should be inspected, tested, maintained, repaired, and certified by appropriately qualified personnel when required. This course does not provide those technical qualifications.
Fire Door & Egress Notice: Employees should recognize and report blocked exits, improperly secured exit doors, obstructed egress routes, damaged fire doors, and other conditions that may interfere with emergency evacuation or fire protection.
Deficiency Reporting: Unsafe conditions identified during routine inspections or observations should be reported according to employer procedures. Conditions presenting an immediate serious hazard may require prompt corrective action, isolation of the area, work stoppage, evacuation, or other measures within the employee’s authority and training.
Code Compliance Limitation: Completion of this training does not authorize participants to interpret or enforce fire codes, building codes, adopted consensus standards, or regulatory requirements on behalf of a governmental authority or authority having jurisdiction.
Workplace-Specific Notice: Employers remain responsible for establishing applicable inspection programs, determining inspection frequency, assigning qualified personnel where necessary, documenting findings, correcting deficiencies, and maintaining required fire-protection and life-safety systems.
Qualification Limitation: Completion of this course does not qualify participants as fire inspectors, code officials, fire marshals, building inspectors, fire-protection technicians, fire-protection engineers, firefighters, or other regulated fire-safety professionals.
Training Certificate: Participants who successfully complete applicable training requirements may receive an A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health Certificate of Training documenting completion of the Fire Safety Inspection & Hazard Recognition Awareness Training program.
The certificate documents training completed and should not be represented as an OSHA-issued credential, fire inspector certification, fire marshal credential, building inspector certification, fire-protection license, or governmental certification.
