Description

A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides professional Safety Audit Services designed to help employers, contractors, and organizations conduct a more comprehensive evaluation of workplace conditions, safety programs, work practices, documentation, and existing hazard controls.

This 4–8 hour Safety Audit provides an expanded review compared with shorter-duration audit services and may be performed at construction projects, general industry workplaces, facilities, warehouses, shops, offices, or other work environments based on the client’s operations and requested scope.

The audit may include observations and review of areas such as:

• Workplace and Jobsite Conditions

• Previous Inspection or Corrective-Action Follow-Up, when applicable

During the audit, A.R.G. safety professionals may conduct workplace observations, review available safety documentation, identify existing or potential hazards, discuss findings with designated client representatives, and recommend corrective or preventive actions.

The extended audit period allows additional time for evaluating work areas, operations, documentation, safety practices, and identified risk areas within the agreed scope.

When included in the agreed scope, a written report may be provided documenting observations, photographs, identified hazards, recommendations, and corrective-action items for client review and follow-up.

The specific areas evaluated depend on the workplace, activities occurring during the audit, identified hazards, available documentation, client requirements, and the agreed scope of services.

A safety audit represents conditions observed and information made available during the defined audit period. It should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every hazard, deficiency, unsafe condition, or regulatory issue has been identified.

Safety Audit Services are intended to support the client’s safety and health management efforts and do not replace the employer’s responsibility to provide a safe and healthful workplace, conduct required inspections, correct identified hazards, provide required training and supervision, maintain required programs and records, or comply with applicable federal, state, local, contractual, or project-specific requirements.
