1201 – Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker Refresher Training – 8 Hour
A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker Refresher Training for previously trained and certified individuals who perform lead-based paint abatement activities in target housing and child-occupied facilities.
This 8-hour refresher training program is structured around the EPA Lead-Based Paint Activities Program requirements for the Abatement Worker discipline. The course reinforces critical worker knowledge and skills while addressing current safety practices, applicable regulations, technologies, and lead-based paint abatement procedures.

Course Duration: 8 Hours
Training Discipline: Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker
Training Level: Refresher / Recertification
Regulatory Framework: EPA Lead-Based Paint Activities Program, 40 CFR Part 745, Subpart L, applicable HUD requirements, and applicable federal, state, tribal, and local requirements.
Eligibility: Participants must meet applicable eligibility requirements for Abatement Worker refresher training and provide documentation of previous qualifying training or certification as required.
Important: Refresher training is discipline-specific. Individuals certified in more than one lead-based paint activities discipline must complete the appropriate accredited refresher training for each discipline in which certification is maintained.
Recertification Notice: Completion of refresher training alone does not automatically renew an individual’s EPA or jurisdictional certification. Applicable recertification applications, fees, documentation, and other requirements must also be completed before the current certification expires.
