1101 – EPA Lead RRP Certified Renovator Refresher Training – 4 Hour
A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides EPA Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Certified Renovator Refresher Training for previously trained Certified Renovators who need to maintain their certification.
This 4-hour refresher training program reviews the requirements of the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule, reinforces lead-safe work practices, and addresses important regulatory, procedural, and technical information applicable to renovation activities involving lead-based paint.

Course Duration: 4 Hours
Training Level: Refresher / Recertification
Program: EPA Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP)
Regulatory Framework: EPA Lead RRP Rule, 40 CFR Part 745, Subpart E, and applicable federal, state, tribal, and local requirements.
Eligibility: Participants must meet applicable EPA or EPA-authorized program eligibility requirements for Certified Renovator refresher training and provide appropriate documentation of previous qualifying training.
Certification: Successful completion of the applicable refresher training course before the participant’s current certification expires allows the renovator to maintain certification in accordance with EPA RRP requirements.
Important: Refresher training that includes the required hands-on component provides a five-year certification period from the date of training. A qualifying refresher course without hands-on training provides a three-year certification period. Renovators using the no-hands-on option must complete a refresher course with hands-on training the next time they recertify.
If a Certified Renovator allows the certification to expire, the individual must complete the 8-hour Certified Renovator Initial Training Course again to regain certification.
