MSHA Part 46 Annual Refresher Training – 8 Hour

The A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health MSHA Part 46 Annual Refresher Training program provides required annual safety and health refresher training for miners working at mining operations covered by 30 CFR Part 46.

The program is structured around the annual refresher requirements established under 30 CFR §46.8 and is designed to keep miners informed of changes, conditions, hazards, equipment, work practices, and other factors that may affect their safety and health.

Required Annual Refresher Element:

• Instruction on changes at the mine that could adversely affect the miner’s health or safety

Course Duration: No Less Than 8 Hours

Frequency: At least once every 12 months

Regulatory Reference: Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), 30 CFR Part 46, §46.8.

Mine-Specific Training: Refresher training must address subjects relevant to the mining operations at the mine and must be consistent with the applicable Part 46 training plan.

Training Documentation: Training records must be completed and certified in accordance with applicable 30 CFR Part 46 requirements.
