A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health provides Fire Safety for Construction & Temporary Worksites Training designed to help employees, supervisors, and contractors recognize and control fire hazards commonly encountered during construction, renovation, demolition, alteration, and temporary worksite operations.
The program addresses combustible materials, temporary heating, electrical hazards, hot work, fuel and compressed-gas storage, temporary structures, fire-protection equipment, access for emergency responders, housekeeping, emergency procedures, and changing site conditions.

Training Discipline: Construction Fire Prevention, Temporary Worksite Fire Safety & Life Safety
Construction Worksite Notice: Construction and renovation projects continuously change as work progresses. Fire hazards, exit routes, temporary electrical systems, material storage, hot-work locations, and available fire-protection systems should therefore be evaluated as site conditions change.
Hot Work Notice: Welding, cutting, brazing, grinding, torch work, and other heat- or spark-producing activities may require additional controls, authorization, permits, fire-watch procedures, and post-work monitoring based on applicable requirements and site conditions.
Temporary Heating Notice: Temporary heaters and other heat-producing equipment can create ignition, fuel, ventilation, carbon monoxide, and clearance hazards. Equipment should be installed and operated according to applicable requirements, manufacturer instructions, and site procedures.
Fire Protection Notice: Required fire-protection equipment should remain accessible and operational. Construction activities should not improperly obstruct, damage, disable, or interfere with extinguishers, fire alarms, sprinkler systems, fire department connections, exit routes, or other life-safety systems.
Multi-Employer Worksite Notice: Construction projects frequently involve multiple employers and subcontractors. Fire-prevention responsibilities, emergency procedures, hot-work controls, communication methods, and site rules should be coordinated among affected parties as applicable.
Emergency Access Notice: Construction materials, vehicles, equipment, temporary fencing, storage, and other site conditions should be managed so they do not improperly interfere with required emergency access or employee evacuation.
Workplace-Specific Notice: Employers remain responsible for identifying site-specific fire hazards, establishing applicable fire-prevention procedures, providing required fire-protection equipment, maintaining emergency routes, coordinating contractors, and providing required employee training.
Qualification Limitation: Completion of this course does not qualify participants as firefighters, fire inspectors, fire-protection technicians, code officials, emergency responders, or other specialized fire-protection professionals.
Training Certificate: Participants who successfully complete applicable training requirements may receive an A.R.G. Construction, Safety & Health Certificate of Training documenting completion of the Fire Safety for Construction & Temporary Worksites Training program.
The certificate documents training completed and should not be represented as an OSHA-issued credential, firefighter certification, fire inspector certification, fire-protection license, or governmental certification.
