OSH 10-Hour Outreach Class for Construction Industry is an occupational safety and health training program designed to provide construction workers with fundamental knowledge of workplace hazards, hazard prevention, safe work practices, and employee safety responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>This program focuses on increasing safety awareness and helping participants recognize, prevent, and control common hazards encountered in construction workplaces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Topics Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduction to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)<\/li>\n<li>Worker and employer safety responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>Hazard recognition, prevention, and control<\/li>\n<li>Fall Protection<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Safety<\/li>\n<li>Struck-By Hazards<\/li>\n<li>Caught-In or Between Hazards<\/li>\n<li>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)<\/li>\n<li>Health Hazards in Construction<\/li>\n<li>Hazard Communication<\/li>\n<li>Silica and respiratory hazard awareness<\/li>\n<li>Hand and Power Tool Safety<\/li>\n<li>Materials Handling and Storage<\/li>\n<li>Scaffolding awareness<\/li>\n<li>Stairways and Ladders<\/li>\n<li>Excavation and Trenching awareness<\/li>\n<li>Emergency preparedness and fire prevention<\/li>\n<li>Additional Construction Industry safety topics based on workplace and participant needs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Duration:<\/strong> 10 Hours<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program:<\/strong> A.R.G. Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Outreach Program \u2013 Construction Industry<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Completion:<\/strong> Participants who successfully complete the required training may receive A.R.G. course completion documentation for the OSH 10-Hour Outreach Class \u2013 Construction Industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong> This is an A.R.G. Construction, Safety &amp; Health occupational safety and health training program. It is not the U.S. Department of Labor OSHA Outreach Training Program and does not issue an OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour student course completion card.
