Participants assigned rescue responsibilities must receive training appropriate to their assigned duties and must demonstrate applicable rescue skills using appropriate equipment and simulated or representative confined space conditions. Practical exercises, equipment use, and participant evaluations may therefore form part of this program based on the training scope provided.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Certificate of Training<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Participants who successfully complete the applicable classroom instruction, practical training, exercises, and required assessments may receive an <strong>A.R.G. Construction, Safety &amp; Health Certificate of Training.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Employer Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Employers remain responsible for evaluating confined space hazards, developing appropriate emergency and rescue procedures, selecting and evaluating rescue services or rescue teams, providing necessary rescue equipment and personal protective equipment, ensuring employees are properly trained for their assigned duties, and conducting required rescue practice appropriate to the workplace and confined spaces involved.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Important Rescue Qualification Notice<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Completion of this course alone does not automatically qualify an individual to perform every type of confined space rescue. Rescue capabilities must correspond to the hazards, configuration, equipment, conditions, and rescue procedures associated with the specific confined space and workplace.
